Saturday 31st January 2026 – Sit and Sew in the Green Room:
Following feedback some members have mentioned they have missed the Sunday sit and sew meetings, we’ve decided to trial some free Saturday sewing sessions to see the demand. (the hall is now totally booked out for 2026 on a Sunday hence the change to Saturday).
This is the second date we’ve booked in the Churchdown Community Centre Green Room (where we have our sit and sew evenings) for 4 hours 11am-3pm .
These sessions are free and all members are welcome to come along, but please be aware that tables are limited so you may have to share a table if you bring a sewing machine and we can’t guarantee there will be enough for everyone to use a machine. We will also have some tables for hand sewing or cutting out so please bring a mixture of projects.
You are very welcome to use the group’s equipment. We have several cutting mats, rulers etc. We also supply all the extension cables, 2 irons and ironing boards. We’ll supply tea and coffee. Please all help with setting up and clearing the room.
